A family history

Located in the quiet hamlet of Casone in the municipality of Vetto (Reggio Emilia) and surrounded by the beauty of the Emilian Apennines, Ca' Nobili is our family home, a large stone farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, where great-grandmother Ida lived, where we spent our summers, and where our root lie. We would love for it to become your perfect rental vacation home for relaxing moments in Emilia Romagna.

The farmhouse has recently been renovated by local craftsmen with great and loving care in respect of its original nature, decorated with antique family furniture and completed by contemporary design pieces.

To strengthen the link to our home territory and to welcome people from different cultures and nationalities, in 2024 Ca' Nobili has opened its doors to hospitality, offering a traditional, charming and elegant environment in the heart of Emilia Romagna.

Being a family project, we welcome you in our rental vacation home to experience the family vibes and to enjoy the pleasure of sharing.

Our commitment to the environment

Ca' Nobili has been renovated complying with the most advanced criteria of bio-architecture and energy efficiency, to reduce the environmental impact and preserve the beauty of our mother Earth:

THE ROOMS

The four double rooms at Ca' Nobili are conceived as a tribute to the four important women of our family: great-grandmother Ida, grandmother Carla, grandmother Maria and mother Renza. All rooms are equipped with a double bed and a private bathroom. The stone walls and wooden ceilings coexist with modern design elements to offer perfect quiet and comfort.

We are pleased to open the doors of Ca' Nobili and share with our guests the experience of an unforgettable holiday in Emilia Romagna, where the present embraces the past in harmony.

Ida

The warm, embracing tone of beige and rust creates an atmosphere of comfort and elegance. This room is a true retreat, enriched by exposed ancient beams that add a touch of authenticity and rustic charm.

The sun's rays gently penetrate through the windows, illuminating the room and accentuating the beauty of the details. You can also enjoy romantic evenings on the private terrace, an enchanting place where candles are lit to create a magical atmosphere while the soothing chanting of cicadas plays in the background.

The bathroom, decorated with emerald green tiles recalling the colours of the surrounding nature outside the window, offers a spacious shower for moments of relax and regeneration.

In every detail of the room and bathroom is reflected our love of nature, creating a peaceful and cosy ambience that will make you feel at home.

Maria

The spacious room has a unique headboard made from an authentic antique door that has undergone a masterful renovation to become the centrepiece of the room. This piece of history makes the ambience charming with a special times-gone-by atmosphere.

The bathroom is a celebration of modernity, covered in white tiles with a large shower offering comfort and functionality.

Renza

The room is blessed with the breath-taking view on the valley below. The warm beige and brown tones create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

Imagine spending your time in this room, relaxing on a comfortable hanging swing chair by the window, sipping a good cup of tea or reading a book.

The bright white bathroom has a large shower where you can regenerate after a day spent exploring the beautiful surroundings.

Carla

The elegant and spacious double room features exposed beams, parquet floors and stone walls that blend harmoniously with the warm mustard and brown tones of the furniture. This combination creates a feeling of cosiness and warmth, inviting in an ambience of pure comfort.

At times upon entering the room, you can smell the scent of the old fireplace housed within its walls before the renovation. This touch of history makes the room even more fascinating, creating a continuity between the past and the present.

The white bathroom is bright and fresh, while the large shower is decorated with colourful flowers.

EXPERIENCES

Not just a holiday

Small things can enrich the quality of our lives. Breaking the rhythm, getting out of the routine and paying attention to ourselves are useful ways to transform our daily routine and recharge our energy. Ca' Nobili offers different kinds of experiences thanks to a network of professionals working in the area, for an original and unforgettable vacation in Emilia. We like the idea of introducing our guests to the area’s local dynamics and contributing to the progress and well-being of the community of which we are a part.

- Pasta fresca workshop: cappelletti, tortelli, tagliatelle, ravioli... there are no less than 23 formats of handmade pasta originating in Emilia. What we offer is a fun and convivial experience to discover the secrets of handmade pasta together with a real “resdora”-  a woman expert in Emilian recipes and the guardian of local traditions.

- Mountain bikes / e-bikes: for outdoor adventure enthusiasts who want to explore extraordinary landscapes, we offer the opportunity to rent mountain bikes or e-bikes leaving directly from Ca' Nobili. Our guests will thus be able to discover the surroundings on their own or through tailored guided tours, based on individual preferences and the level of challenge they wish to face. The service is offered by local professionals and specialised guides.

Our guests will witness all the stages of milk processing, from cooking to salting. They will also be able to visit the maturing warehouses where the cheeses rest while waiting for the twelfth month when they will be evaluated by experts to be branded and reach the right maturity, 24 months and more. After the visit, the dairy organises a Parmigiano Reggiano tasting.

- Farm visit: a guided tour of a local producer of milk for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano. During the visit, it will be possible to observe at first hand the care and attention used in the creation of an ingredient that is fundamental to the quality of the precious typical product of the Emilian tradition.

- Massages: upon request, massage sessions given by local professionals are available at our farmhouse. During summer, we offer the option of outdoor treatments, caressed by the breeze and in the silence of nature, for a moment of absolute peace.

The owner himself will tell you about the secrets of this ancient and fascinating world, while strolling through the vineyards or visiting the cellar, and tasting of typical local products and wines.

Small suggestions on clothes, make-up and hair colours to heighten your image and make you more beautiful.
